This cooker has a waffle bottom composed of heavier gauge steel for fat-free frying as well as pressure cooking. I can cook 12 frozen chicken breasts (cooked 15 minutes under pressure,) 4 lb. roasts, or a 3 ½ pound chicken. It is great for stews, soups, beans and grains.

This one is fabulous for large families and for cooking additional meals for the freezer. I can cook 24 frozen chicken breasts in it, which I put in Ziploc bags and use for a variety of dishes. It is great for large batches of soup, stew and chili. You can also steam a large spaghetti squash in this cooker for 20 minutes, which would usually take over an hour in the oven. I recently pressured a 20-lb turkey with one can of broth for 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was so tender!
